Default BYUTV broadcast

Did they take the KJZZ feed? I Tivo'd the KJZZ broadcast and watched part of it. It looked pretty good and DJ and Thurl did pretty well. Was that what was sent over BYUTV? Did they show real commercials or just the church/BYU stuff?

They used their own announcers, Toolson and the other guy. Picture quality was poor. No commercials, although there were a couple of PSAs (or whatever they are) that I hadn't seen before, like Bronco in the classroom flirting with the female athlete.

That's too bad. Any reason BYUTV can't simply use the KJZZ feed?

If there ever is a potential for this to become a regular thing, it would be much cheaper, and much higher quality to use the local broadcast.
