Default Mormon families in Orange County

Asked a guy who lives in Orange County how the young Mormon "starter" families make it there.

He said they don't. They are in Plano. Says he hardly knows any young Mormon families in Orange County. They got busted up good in the housing recession.

Said when he lived in the Bay area, he knew Mormon families that lived in places where they worked as apartment managers. To make ends meet.

So maybe the day is coming that Texas is the new CA when it comes to Mormons. You wouldn't know it from my ward, which doesn't have the new, cheap housing stock that Mormon families like.

Just read that Toyota is moving its US HQ to Plano. Maybe the days of cheap housing in Dallas will come to an end as well.
