But in all seriousness, I don't like this doctrine/teaching. Understanding the language of the Spirit is hard enough to have interference from an imposter jamming up the signal. In fact, I dislike it sufficiently so as to reject it. The only Spirit-imitating imposter are my own feelings, and that's where I find the dilemma: is the source for these feelings internal or external?
You got a thing for Eve... the blond or brunette?

My grandmother has a crush on the younger Satan (not Michael Ballam). She says "I hate when they make him leave! He's so cute!"

Would it be possible for a believing LDS to not believe in a literal Satan?

Could Satan be a construct God uses to teach us?

I wouldn't be so bold to say that's what I believe, but the concept of Satan just isn't very useful for me. I ignore it.

I doubt Satan can sabotage me worse than I can sabotage myself.

Exactly. That's where I'm coming from. It's more useful to look inside and see where that error or motivation's coming from and why, than to simply blame it on Satan.

One of my buddies was in the Brunette Adam and Eve's ward...he always wanted to go up to her and say, "how could you do that to Adam..." But thought the better of it.

The blonde kind of had a little snaggle tooth thing going. She also kind of had a long face, with a flat forehead and protruding chin. The brunette's eyes are nice. And she had a nicer olive skin tone that appeals to me more with a rounder face. I prefer dark hair and light eyes, like my wife.

Definitely the brunette. Each time it starts panning down I think that today is my lucky day and then BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE----leaves from the bush.

What a downer.
