Who suggested you shouldn't? Of course you should vote. But I think you should only support your party's candidate if you think on the balance they are good for the country. Otherwise, you should vote for someone else (who doesn't have to be the other party's nominee either).

I do understand what you're saying, but in this election - just as in 1992 - a vote for a 3rd party candidate is a vote for a Democrat.

I can't do that to the country.
