Default BYU coach jumps into the General Conference "opposed" fray

Yikes.

I love how he implies violence, and then decries stereotypes of Polynesians being prone to violence.

In the good old days before twitter people made dumb comments all the time that wouldn't end up as stories picked up by the Tribune. Dumb thing to say for sure.

From his brother on FB:

If you know my brother then you need not read this ... You already know
If you don't know my brother ... Read on for some clarity.
Disclaimer: I am NOT an active member of the Church ... I am NOT a BYU football anything
There are two reasons my brother would fight tooth & nail for ... God & Family. If warranted ... Lay down his life. With that being said ... Mark has a temper that has been passed down for generations, his tweet was a knee jerk reaction and seriously people ... no one was in any danger of physical harm.
Trust & believe though ... If God or my father asked my brother to special ops a person (which of course would never happen) Mark would be front and center. Blind obedience
The negative reactions to his tweet are obviously from little people who don't know him & many from racist, ignorant, small minded individuals who were just waiting for this opportunity to show their true colors.
With that being said ... If you would like to continue this discussion with me ... I'll be at the Trapp tonight for karaoke
K bye

I wonder if this had to do with something other than The Church if anyone would care.
