Why are you so defensive about Canada? Did I diss the Maple Leaf somewhere? Do you feel Canada is a socialist country?

Canada, I like Canada. Our parent company is from Canada and they are a great Company. Seriously I am glad they own us instead of some US bank.

Why don't we let Canada become the world leader. They and the Europeans can decide if Russia invading places is wrong and they can either support Israel or let it duke it out with the Arabs.

Let's shut down our military except for the nukes and tell anyone who attacks us we will nuke them. Other than that, everyone else can now fight it out without us getting involved.

they have a terrible health care system. At least that is what some Canadian told my brother the other day. He said a lot of people die waiting to get treated. Of course that may not be a bad idea. It certainly would cut back on the cost of providing health care.

How do we ensure the best prices for natural resources. The dirty secret is, our military ensures we get the best prices in the Middle East and in other places for natural resources. This is the true reason we have positioned ourselves across the world. When we forgot that and cloaked it in human rights, we lost focus.

Using military for human rights is not in your best interests.

Figures, you lived in Bolivia. You underestimate the risks and overvalue the benefits.
You lived in Germany, so I can understand the paranoia.

Fear not, mein heir. The Anschluss will be peaceful and painless.

And using one's military to procure other nations' natural resources is?

Don't the Canadians get as good of prices on natural resources as we do. We can have $10 a gallon gasoline like the Europeans. Heck, they love their socilaist system and how much it costs.

What I don't get is how the Europeans are so envied by the left for their modern way of looking at things, why aren't they leaving America in droves to migrate to Europe. Only the really rich liberals buy homes and reside in Europe. They understand the aristocracy concept. Why don't they take about 10 million of the poor and middle class along with them if things are so much better for the poor and middle class in Europe.

Environmentally sound. Survival of the fittest. Surely the environmentalist have nothing against returning to our natural instincts like all others in the animal kingdom.
