Hey, I don't want have a chilling effect on genuinely funny stuff. And I acknowledge a few bits stand the test of time [Tex, the Paul Begala "The Forehead" sobriquet gets a free pass because it IS funny, plus he's more annoying than any repetitive quip]. But keep 'em fresh, and watch their expiration dates. As DDD notes, exUte is the gold standard.

Great. Regulation of our attempts at humor. I feel the the heavy hand of the Obamadministration already.

Oh that YO is correct and McCain pulls it out. Our bad jokes will be given expression unfettered, just as the Founding Fathers wished.

Exactly. Plus, those who are top-tier, like Y and TD and Goat, now have to share their material with the rest of us.

Oh, it's not so bad. Sure, Arch will get credit for some of your lines, but just think how much everybody will appreciate it when he's actually funny. It's all about making Cougarguard a more successful, prosperous community for the benefit of us all.

It's about time.

I hope it's enough to finally persuade you to step into the light.
