David Nixon playing for Raiders now
Its hard dor me to tell how he is playing because it is a bonehead Cowboys broadcast and they aren't mentioning anything about Raiders players. Plus I'm watching on SD w/ no DVR. Looks like the R want to see what he's made of here in the 2nd quarter. Which may mean he's 2nd string, or more likely, he's on the bubble and could be cut soon.

Game is on NFL network right now, this time a Raiders broadcast. I turned it on end of 2nd quarter and instantly it says "David Nixon makes the tackle. The Raiders are high on this kid."

Watched the end of the Raiders vs. Saints game today. Nixon very active, against play by play Raiders guy says Raiders high on the guy, has chance to make the squad.
I'd be surprised if he doesn't make the practice squad. Todd Watkins got a little PT. I think it's possible this is the end of the road for Watkins. |
