Default I wore a white shirt to church

this Sunday. First time I have worn a white one in a long, long time.

I have to tell you. I did feel a bit more righteous than those I saw around me in colored and pin stripe shirts.

It was kind of neat. Usually I look around and think I am probably the least worthy in the whole crowd. It was nice to see people there that I felt more worthy than.

The day Ken Jennings lost on Jeopardy, he wasn't wearing a white shirt, and the lady who defeated him was wearing red.

So do you think you will do this all the time and why did you do it this time?

I attended a funeral as a pall bearer and bought a white shirt. I just decided to wear it to church.

Probably not all the time because my Bishop has never said anything about a white shirt.

I'm not actually clear on what the white shirt "rules" are. Are all males supposed to wear them, or only certain ones in certain positions? And this must be subject to local custom, right?

You should go in all whites. Pants, shirt, tie, belt, socks, shoes, coat. Then there would be no doubt of your righteousness.

Go with the Colonial Sanders look.

If I did that at my age, they would think I had just crawled out of my casket.
