It was your comment about not making the HS VB team that I was responding to. DO you now want to talk about the national teams and racial diversity? That seems like a slightly different issue, doesn't it? Or maybe this all goes back to the unassailable machismo of Texans (even non-native ones, I presume)?

the reason there are no black players--because volleyball is not a major, serious sought-after sport. Geeky gangly nerds like Ryan Millar can be best in the world.
