Look at Texas A&M. They beat South Carolina with a new QB. And then Sumlin was officially God. Now after losses (really blowout losses) to MSU and Ole Miss, the shine is off. Lots of grumbling. "BlackMack" referring to him being a new version of Mack Brown. Good at recruiting and little else.

Same with BYU. Riding high. Ranked. Great QB. Then the first loss to USU at home since 1978. And Bronco looks like the old Bronco we are pretty familiar with. Almost never wins the big game or against favored opponents. Recruiting mediocre.

With less butts in the seats, one wonders how the rest of the season will go. Hmm.

Of course with age comes wisdom. Bronco will not be fired. BYU will not go to a major conference. And nothing much else will change.
