This must be what comes of cheering for a team that has (sadly) become a perennial doormat. Convincing anyone to bother to even come to Laramie is something to celebrate.

I'm jazzed for each and every one of our opponents, from North Dakota State on down to Tennessee. That's what real fans do, they get excited to see their team play whoever.
Saying you only get excited when byu plays USC etal is saying you don't care about byu because the opponent is dictating your excitement level rather than your team.

Are we to believe that BYU was offered and said no? Or that BYU said yes, then Big 8 called back later and said "nevermind"?
