Default lowest attendance of MWC teams

This isn't official. Just my quick glance. There are really terrible numbers. TCU in the 20,000s. AFA was missing some statistics, so they might actually be lower.

I would like to see the Big East numbers, to see if they are less. I doubt it.

More evidence that BYU is not in a conference of its peers.

below 20k
UNLV

below 30k
Wyoming, SDSU, New Mexico, TCU, CSU

below 40k
AFA

below 50k
Utah

below 70k
BYU

Big East is not below. They are kicking our ass. Schools like Rutgers, UCONN, South Florida went from attendance in the 20's to the 40's. Big East blew by the MWC and now will be rivaling any of the big boys.

AFA is usually in the forties and does a good job filling its stadium, so your assumption about AFA is probably incorrect. IIRC, they are usually second in conference attendance.

last year when they were still good and BYU came to play them they were nowhere near 40k, i dont think their stadium even holds 40k. They had about 25k last year against BYU and i would bet 7500 of those were cougarfans if not more.

AFA is averaging 37K this year and looks like they have 50K capacity. I believe they've averaged 40's when their program is up.

something looks weird. If you go down to Eastern Michigan it says their stadium holds 60k... No way in hell that is true. Its about the same size as Utah st. stadium

My guess is that those are tickets sold, not actual attendance. Wyoming traditionally has fewer than 30k (and SDSU is often lower too).
