Maybe I should let UtahDan respond, as he was the frontman for our band. In short, three months or so from conception, to playing a few gigs (remember Mama's Cafe?), to recording an album of original music, to selling them on our last day of freshman year.

Good times and yes, we had groupies. It was weird to see girls sitting in the front singing our songs along with us--weirder still since often even I didn't know all the lyrics by heart to our original songs, but they apparently did.

Oh, I played the drums and once wore a very gay hat.

The only part of that I really remembered was the gay hat, but yeah, now that you mention it that other stuff occurred too.
