For those of you who argue that a CHL/CCW holder should "talk a perp down", look what happened to Dan. I can't criticize him, because who knows what I would have done. But one thing I take away, is if a guy is trying to kill people, don't hesitate, don't warn, just STOP him.

I agree that McKown is a hero. If there is any criticism of what he did, it would be that he didn't shoot and kill Maldonado. It would have saved the tax payers the cost of trying and housing the POS.

Talking a perp down is a cop's job, an armed citizen should merely say, "drop or I'll shoot," and then shoot.
