I will forward you one for free. It is from Nordstrom.

They charged me $250 for it, when I thought it was only $2.50!

I was so mad, I told them I would forward it to everyone for free. In fact, please feel free to send it to everyone you know.

Did you ever grab a slice at Blondie's Pizza, right next door to Rasputin Records? right there on Powell Street at the corner of Union Square. Good stuff.

Young grasshopper, when I was there (at what is ow the starbucks on O'farrell) there was no Blondies at that location. So, no, I didn't. Besides, SPunkmeyers was adjoined by a separate byt equal burrito shop and I got one free burrito pershift, so I had no reason to leave the premises.

It was actually an interesting place to work. The area was a little dodgier then than now and I made friends with a number of the porsittutes who used to come in for our killer coffee. Several even offered me freebies, but I was married and devout and, besides, I wouldn't touch that with SU's, well, you get the point.

I guess when you work that close to the tenderloin, you are going to encounter interesting people.

I keep forgetting about the age gap. Apologies.

How about this....when you worked at Otis Spunkmeyer, did you ever ride your horse to the hill overlooking Fort Alcatraz and catch fresh dungeness crab?

I have a good recipe, I'll see if I can track it down. Some things to do to make the cookies better is to not melt the butter but to cream it with the sugar. Also, most recipes have you bake them at 350. I think it is better to do 325 or even 300 longer. They'll be softer that way.

I'm a big Blonde's fan. Good stuff. At least it was a few years ago.

I was still good as of 4 months ago.

Rasputin's was still cool, but I think Amoeba may be better in some ways now.
