Of course it wouldn't, if you're not evangelical, you're not an Aggie I guess.

My speculation is that personally, most Muslims, Jews or Mormons will fit in, because by virtue of their personalities, they will make people like them most of the time, exceptions notwithstanding. But TAM containing many evangelical folk contains an undercurrent of distrust for minority religions and that certain brand of predominant religious fervor regards most outsiders with distrust and disfavor. It is just the culture there.

At a Harvard or Stanford, places where religions are of minor import,the tolerance and indifference is at a much higher level and undercurrents of distrust less obvious.
