I guess so, because I have five lunches a week that don't come out of my kitchen. Today's was a roast beef on wheat from the Sidebar Deli.

When I was working in DC I ate out every day for lunch. More often than not, building partners were taking me out to lunch or sales reps trying to get our business.

Now that I am in Utah I still eat out pretty much every day for lunch. The development group who was mentoring us took us out every day for lunch. Being young and single I eat out for dinner several times a week too. Probably 3 times at least if not more because Friday and Saturday I am usually out and about.

I do enjoy cooking though and I'll be into my new place this weekend and look forward to eating at home more often than I have been.

I'm in the same category as you - a twice a month thing; however, we go out as a couple once a month and take the kids with us the other time.

This time of year, I'd much rather throw food on the grill and cook it myself.

I tip 34% minimum.

Eating out a lot is a good way to get fat.

That's because in Dallas all they have is barbecue, deep fried cat fish, half pound bacon burgers, that kind of stuff. Seattle restaurants are health conscious, even the pubs.

I think we've learned from other polls that zero times a week, for some folks, is not that uncommon.
