... a very brief visit. I just got a 3-day ban on CB for posting an adoption question with the subject, "Hot Asian sex question:" My question was about adopting a child from China, and wondering why there were so many girls available, and so few boys. I was also asking about adopting in Africa, since that would probably be our first choice, and I would like to find someone (other than Angelina Jolie) who has had some success adopting from that region. I thought the subject was funny, sitting right under the Mod's post stating that 'Sex is generally not an acceptable topic on CB.'

That isn't why I am posting here tonight.

Getting banned was a reminder about what sucks about CB. Some nice folks here have encouraged me to "come home." I have generally thanked these folks for their kindness, and said that I would like to. But for better or for worse, I have staked out a simple position of principle - I rather not support CG with my posts as long as I am '2nd class citizen.' In my experience the only thing more uptight than myself when I have staked out a 'position of principle,' is a bunch of mostly-mormons sticking to rules like 'no lurkers in the crypt.' Since I am now a lurker, I don't have very high expectations. So I will keep it brief.

1. I would like to come back to CG with full privileges, and that means participation in the crypt and the writers' group.

2. You know exactly what to expect if I come back.
