number 1 in the nation in total receiving yards with 1058.

Also even more impressive is the fact that actually has 1 less catch than Crabtree (69-70) yet he has over 130 more receiving yards. He is averaging 15.33 yards per catch.

Collie is good but the quality of his opponents is less than the quality of opponents Crabtree has faced. It really takes a better eye than I possess to discern how a player from a lesser conference rates against players from BCS conferences.

Collie's a legit talent on this team. He's not the one to pick on.

It's not that hard to figure it out. Tech has faced TWO D1AA teams this year, and the D1A teams they've faced have the following Pass Efficiency Defenses:

Nevada: 137.7
SMU: 168.4
Kansas St: 132.7
Nebraska: 138
A&M: 132.7
Kansas: 121.8
Texas: 131

137.5 Average.

BYU, meanwhile, has faced the following D1A PE Defenses:
Washington: 177.7
UCLA: 122.7
Wyoming: 127
Utah State: 133
New Mexico: 133
TCU: 96.2
UNLV: 162.1
CSU: 144.3

137.0 Average.

In the end, both teams have faced some pretty poor defenses. If anything, you should give credit to Collie for achieving a 100-yard game against what is undoubtedly the best pass defense either team faced so far this year.
