Default I am Statman...

I live near Chicago. I used to live in Fort Worth. I work for the biggest of banks. I have a wife and two children. I have a strong (STRONG!) testimony of the "ticking biological clock." I scare people when I watch BYU football games. Sometimes I scare myself as well - I think I had a ministroke at a BYU football game in 1987. I don't hate the Utes. My Mother-in-Law once made MikeWaters wait on my front lawn for 30 minutes prior to a BYU game, "because he looked shifty" and I was late in getting home from work. That is all...

Where in Chicago? I served my mission there.

Default I live in a place you CERTAINLY don't know...

Gilberts. Until 2 years ago it had about 300 people. Since then, two subdivisions have been built - the small snobby one where I live ( :P ) and the HUGE $350K starter-home one (literally on the other side of the tracks). Now there are about 3,500 people living in Gilberts, and that number is expected to double again in the next three years.

Gilberts is just to the East of Elgin - about 45 miles straight West of downtown on interstate 90. If you get off at the Randall Road exit on I-90, and squint, you can see my backyard. Just cross the 600 acres of corn and soybeans, and you're there...

You're right. I never got out to Elgin. I was in the mission office in Downers Grove (I think my area was Oakbrook), and my first area was Naperville, but that was as far west as I got.

I was in McHenry for a time, and I ended up in Chicago Heights.
