Allen is 26 and Taylor is 33. Thats why I didnt compare them apples to apples because of age, but Allen also has 2 DUIs so he could go the way of Jerome Brown soon.

That's true. No matter who the player is, it is tough to part with a first rounder.

Probably. But then you get into the whole argument of need versus best talent available. But then the Raiders need everything.

I'm afraid the Raiders go with the sexy pick of McFadden. Fargas had the breakout year Michigan fans always hoped for. And they just signed him to an extension. They still have Rhodes. They still have LaMont Jordan. And they have Michael Bush who I really believe could be better than the other three if given a chance.

After investing all that money in JaMarcus, the Raiders best invest in protecting him. Or else we have another David Carr situation on our hands.

The Raiders are in tough situation since they don't have any 2nd or 3rd round picks. Which makes me think Al will go with the sexy pick. I really don't think they could go wrong though with Dorsey or Long though either. Sapp retired. They need some help inside. Their D is pretty much set.
