Don't you think he should take all of Collins minutes? You have to admit he has looked really, really good in whatever playing time he has seen.

The only problem is, the teams you list below as impediments to the Jazz's success....none of them mortgaged it all for a one-time chance. they all won multiple times over the years and were annually in the playoffs, more often than not going further than the Jazz.

The difference is not that they played inferior team ball. It is that they had clutch players that took over when needed....on a consistent basis. Hence, my original observation.

I agree completely. My comment about not mortgaging their future was not a shot at any team that kept the Jazz from winning, simply an observation from me that I would have rather had the Jazz be consistently good for a long time, than to have them had done something that might have paid off in the short term, but crippled them in the future.

The Jazz' biggest problems were 1) they played in the same era as the best basketball player in history, period and 2) as you mentioned, their clutch players were less clutch than those they played against. As good as Stockton and Malone were, Jordan and Pippen were better.

The Jazz sucked again tonight.

Horrible shooting by Utah, great shooting by Portland.

That's pretty much it.

The Jazz need a cheap shotting mean son of a bitch on defense.

They don't have one.

KOC has quite a bit of work to do before the All-Star or in the off-season to make this happen.

Until the Jazz get tougher defensively they will continue to struggle this year.
