Surprised Triplet hasn't pulled out the "CHAMPIONSHIPS" smack yet.
Lakers = 14 championships.

Jazz = zero championships.

That being said, I still stick to my usual mantra.....last night's game decides little more than.....well......who won last night's game. I dont buy into the CB collective mentality that based on last night, the Lakers are now destined for a top seed and the jazz will fall to 6 or 7.

I think he means 3.8.....but he would be slightly off. The correct number is approximately 5.

The question: How many years between each Laker championship?

The Lakers average a Finals appearance about every 2 years and a championship every 5 years.

It is time for ring #15.

As a Lakers fan who became a quasi-Jazz fan (after having a true hatred of them for their fan's behavior) largely due to watching Kirilenko prior to a pre-season game a few years back...only to watch AK become a whiny wacko, it was pretty fun to watch that game.

It could have gone either way and I would not have been very upset.

I will defend Jazz fans in a way much like Laker fans defend Kobe against criticism.

How are Jazz fans any worse than other fans around the league?

I never said they were. They just annoyed me. I suspect any team's fans other than the one I root for would.

I've never lived in an NBA city before Utah. I suspect Jazz fans are roughly the same, given a little uniqueness due to the Mormon influence.

In fact, many Lakers fans annoy me. Especially the annoying ones & the bandwagoners.

This is a good point. But what about the one's that don't annoy you--specifically, the non-annoying ones?

They are part of that same annoying fanbase that includes BYU fans, Buzz fans, and Utah Pioneerzz fans.

Erm...to be honest, people in general annoy me, so I'd have to say there's few who fit in the non-annoying group.

Definitely more Laker flags on cars since the Gasol trade. I thought the Lake Show played a great REGULAR season game; I'm tempering my enthusiam until they get out of the 1st round.

I'm amazed at the level of hatred that Jazz fans have for the Lakers; especially Kobe. I will admit that I take great pleasure in reading CB after a Jazz loss, last night was unusually comedic.
