Dusty Baker's decision to pull Russ Ortiz and hand him the game ball in Game 6 still makes me cry myself to sleep at night, so I'll have to disagree.

Speaking of Grady Little, I think most Red Sox fans would agree that no person has single-handed destroyed a team's hopes for a World Series title faster than Little did a few years ago.

McNamara's decision to keep Buckner in the lineup in Game 6 of the '86 World Series was a huge mistake. And not because Buckner was error prone, but because the guy was playing on two bad ankles. He should never have been on the field.

And the only reason McNamara didn't look like an even bigger idiot in Game 7 was the fact that the rainout gave Hurst one more day's rest. McNamara wasn't going to start Oil Can Boyd no matter the situation and would have risked Hurst's arm to do it.

I hope Torre can do more for the Dodgers. Like give Andruw Jones a bat with a 40" diameter barrel.

The A's claimed Davis off of waivers today.

Nice. Good get. I wonder if they are still considering Frank Thomas.

Trevor Hoffman is killing the Padres. He hit his peak three years ago and has gone downhill fast. Only three weeks into the season and he has already blown four saves and received two losses.

With another one tonight.

My cheering woke my daughter up when Molina hit the homer tonight.

SI had a blurb about him this week in their Inside MLB section. Sad.
