The Jazz are not entirely innocent.

LHM was probably happy to get immediate cap relief as a result of letting him go for medical reasons. If they trade, the incoming player still takes up cap space.

Also, at the time, Fisher was not signing with anyone, so it truly was looked at as a release. He signed with the lakers a few weeks later, I think.

I've read that Fisher took a $5 or $6 million dollar pay cut when he re-upped with the Lakers.

I don't think Kobe looks so good in that yellow jumpsuit. Orange would suit him better.

He did. Another example of why Fisher wasnt lying. Nobody walks away from that kind of cash.

I saw Kobe's wife at the MVP thing, and I chuckled. I bet a lot of people smile and chuckle in reaction to her. Must be highly annoying.

Wouldn't Fish need to be in NEW YORK??????
All of Fisher's wife's family is in LA. His daughter only goes to NY once every 2 months the rest of her 2 week checkups are in LA.

It came out later that Fisher was talking to Kobe about it the whole time. Remember Kobes comments after the Jazz game in the regular season? Kobe made it sound like this was the plan all along.

Fisher wasn't thrilled to be traded to the Jazz in the first place. He let it be known publicly when he heard the news in Golden State.
