Wait, I thought that was the Italians.

No, not talking about the wops.

"wops?"

Some of us find that offensive.

Religion rises inevitably from our apprehension of our own death. To give meaning to meaninglessness is the endless quest of all religion. When death becomes the center of our consciousness, then religion authentically begins. Of all religions that I know, the one that most vehemently and persuasively defies and denies the reality of death is the original Mormonism of the Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Joseph Smith.

I think that was his point.

And I don't know the Spanish equivalent, but I know they aren't as bad as those Portuguese.

And lets not get started on the Arabs.

Spic is about as close as I can get when I am trying to offend Spaniards.

I know, I know, most of you are saying, "Come on, DDD....spics are mostly Puerto Ricans...."

And you know....you guys are right....but the point is that when using racial epithets, why limit yourself?

Speaking of racial remarks, the Godfather has the best exchange of all time.....between Tom Hagen and Sen Woltz:

Woltz: I don't care how many dago guinea WOP greaseball goombahs come out of the woodwork!

Tom Hagen: I'm German-Irish

Woltz: Well let me tell you something, my Kraut Mick friend, I'm going to make so much trouble for you, you won't know what hit you...

I love that exchange, delivered perfectly by the Jewish Woltz. Whenever somebody says they're German-Irish, I have to restrain myself.

Whenever I get caught with a dead naked woman in my bed, I always say, "I remember....I remember she was laughing...."

At that time, usually the cops and I have a good laugh because they have also seen the Godfather and are big fans of the movie, as well.
