You do look like you're sixteen.

I went to Runners Advantage in Foothill Village. They measure your run and go thru the recommended shoes to use. I went with the Brooks Trance 6 Shoe (http://www.runningwarehouse.com/desc...S-BTRA6M.html). I was having arch problems on my foot which made it difficult to run anymore. It now provides the stability and support that my feet need and I was able to start running again this past weekend.

I started out slow: 1-1.5 miles for a while and then bumped it up to 2 miles and kept on bumping it up. I am now running around 4 miles a day, 5 days a week. I do some weights a few mornings a week as well.

Alright, 14, way to rub it in.

Actually when I started at my current job 6 years ago a bunch of people thought I was a new high school student assistant and 14. and just this year, one of the new engineers was asking about me and wondered what I as a high school student did here.

Much better than looking 15 years older than I actually am.

Well you be the judge how old I look but I'd take youthful looks almost any time, except when one is trying to play the authority and people your age look at you as if you're still a kid. Those times one must wow them with knowledge.

I can still get the cheap rates at the movie theatre if I pull my hat way down low and leave my 3 kids at home.

I actually haven't been called 16 for quite some time, but I still often get early 20's as a guess of my age.

Well the only time I felt really good about looking youthful resulted from a young twenty something gal thinking I was unmarried and in my late twenties, early thirties. That was a nice pat on the back.

Flash and I still pull out our college IDs at the movies. I think we'll continue to try it until we get our senior citizens card.

I am currently paying a heavy price for this. I was running pretty well and really enjoying it, but I got careless and upped my mileage too quickly and now 8 weeks later I still have to rest my angry iliotibial band. Goose, being the excellent PT that he is, has helped me a lot with stretching, but I'm still a couple weeks from running again. Getting old sucks.
