Now you guys are making things interesting and making me want to go.

So who's team do some of you double agents plan on playing for?

Whoa Nelly! Arch...you don't want me on your team. If we're talking men or mice....I squeak like there's no tomorrow!

I'd be on the "B" team.

Seriously, would love to ride with the Big Dogs, but like I said, I just finished a century last weekend, and averaged 17.5mph. A LOOONG way from the 20+ that you are planning on doing.

What are the oddsmakers going to put down on this challenge?

Gaurdians 2:1 favorites over the Boarders?

Well I'd like to have you on my team, but since I will bog down my team I thought you could buoy up the other team.

17.5 mph ain't bad for a century, depending on the amount of climbing and whether or not you had a strong group to ride with.

Well, not bad for me.

There were several stretches that we were hitting 22-24mph. But, I know I couldn't sustain that for 100 miles.

I wonder what my real average is as you walk your bike to and from rest stops, slowing for stop lights, intersections etc.

...most likely, if I took all that into account, my average would raise from 17.5mph to 17.55 miles per hour!

That would be a fun wager, with pride on the line...um...not you BYUPride...just the regular kind of pride.

That 'might' be enough to push me over the edge to ride in the Ulcer and the Sawtooth Century.
I'll put myself on the line. Whoever wins gets to buy me dinner. Look forward to seeing you there 8/11.
