Well the 6 consequences also relies on misdirection and suggested facts that are not true, and avoids the issues. I remember many people, mainly on cougarboard, being up in arms that someone would dare point out the problems with that and asking the Yes on Prop 8 people to rely on solid arguments.

Both sides have relied on scare tactics and poor arguments to support their position.

I think they should have ended the ad with the missionaries laughing maniacally, you know the cartoony super villain style laughing. It would have made it that much more hilarious.

Did you complain? SO why accept this garbage ad? Myabe all this talk of self-loathing has some basisin reality.

FWIW, I am against Prop 8, and I think this ad is inappropriate. I think if it were made by members of the Church it would be funny in a camp kind of way, but used as an attack by opposing groups, I think it is in poor taste.

There's actually some good arguments from both sides, but they're not heard very much. Not only do they go deep into sociology and philosophy, they are lost to the screaming crowds. This ad being a good example of "screaming crowd."

I did complain about the passing around of the 6 Consequences, because I care if the church looks like jackasses. I would prefer the church not associate with a very inaccurate and misleading document. I'm not complaining about the no ad because I don't care if this group makes themselves look like jackasses.

The only complaint about the ad is they needed to raise the level of evil from the missionaries. Why go for just evil when you can go for over the top cartoony super villain.

I will be the first to admit it since nobody else is man enough.....I though the scene of the missionary going through the underwear drawer was hot. I would have "searched" that drawer for awhile, frankly.
