I played ultimate last night.

I still have a decent burst of speed, and I am in decent, if not great shape, from playing basketball regularly. But the pace of ultimate is something else. It's like football without the breaks between the plays, and you are alternately playing WR and CB.

Fun game. Nice people.

I used to play it in high school all the time. In PhysEd they would make us run 1.5 miles and then play ultimate immediately thereafter. If you loafed too much during ultimate, they would make you run around the track instead. It was quite the workout.
