Camille Paglia criticized Obama for bowing to the King of Saudi Arabia in her column today.

Why do I have to read Paglia to find what the mainstream media ignores?

Anyway, point is that we will eventually see how far the "we are all friends here" mentality goes.

My father has on occasion worked on a large ocean-going ship, and I asked him what defense they have against pirates (besides avoiding them). They have a water cannon.

Water is cool and all, but I'd be more comfortable throwing some lead their way.

There's been problems with the Somali pirates for 20 years now, but I believe this is the first time they've seized a U.S. Flagged ship. Matter of fact, I've heard this is the first piracy act against a U.S. ship off Africa in more than 200 years, basically since Jefferson sent the Marines to "the shores of Tripoli".

Look, these pirates are a joke, the only reason they get away with it is because we let them. I don't think it's any coincidence that their first act against a U.S. ship has come during the current administration. Obama better grow a pair and kill some pirates, otherwise this stuff will only increase. In the words of Buffoon Biden, this is a test, Mr. President. Start kicking some ass, because this is embarrassing.
