an account of Noah?

In this article we read that humans almost went extinct 70,000 years ago, probably due to drought. There were as few as 2,000 humans alive. Might that have become an account of widespread death, almost mass extinction, brought on by calamitous weather, thereby leading to only a few left living? |

Anyone read about the drastic changes in sea level between 11,000 and 7,000 BC when there was a big glacial meltoff?
