Try Air France -they usually have good deals at strange times and this would be a good time to look.

travelzoo.com can also be very good, especially for short-notice booking.
I've used travelocity and orbitz in the past and have had no problems. I've also gone directly through the airlines website and beaten the "discount" rates on those other sites. And I've also actually called the airline and beaten both prices. And yes, I'm a cheap SOB and will go to extreme lengths to save a buck |

Try lastminute.com for cheap weekend trips that are within the next two weeks. Also I looked at that kayak.com and that is pretty nice.

This also gives you more freedom to later modify your flight times without the big penalties.

Depending on prices, check flights into heathrow or gatwick. If they are substantially cheaper, you can easily get transport from London to Paris. Take the greyhound that goes through Dover, over to Calais and then into paris. Fun adventure and can be quite lovely.

I think I had read somewhere that they were both having a bit of financial difficulties lately. Not sure, though.
