I have never understood the little man's fascination with dunking. As we all know it is one of the least important skills in basketball, unless you are Amare Stoudamire. I theorize that being short is somewhat emasculating (not inherently, but through societal means) and that to dunk is somehow the most masculine act on a basketball court.
Personally I think the most difficult skill is knocking down jumpers off the dribble, but if you are 6'5" all any one wants to know is whether you can put it down (which I can't anymore). Inevitably these threads end up on these subjects. Ces't la vie. |

Knocking down a jumper off the dribble = not hard for a guy 5'9".
Dunking a basketball on a 10 foot hoop = hard for a 5'9" guy. Depends on perspective, I guess. |

I can tell why Waters did this poll. It's a periodic test of the accuracy of the polls here. You see this one comes out a nice bell curve. Our polls are confirmed reliable.
