Default Favorite Conference Talks

It looks as if we will hear a lot about Bednar, after tender mercies talk and now the seek not to be offended talk, he is fast becoming a favorite.

I miss Elder Maxwell, as I loved the nuances of his talks, or at least his use of language.

Elder Oaks is now my favorite.

I like Elder Oaks talk on patience, the Seventy, not the Apostle.

Others?

Elder LeGrand Richards will always be my favorite. His knowledge of the scriptures was amazing and he could hold the attention of even the most ADD types with his numberless stories.

I enjoy President Monson as well.

Henry B. and his talk on procrastination. I was young still when BRM gave his final conference talk, but I found a tape of it and his testimony is something I'll never forget.

I liked Elder Ballard's talk this go around. He was good in April too.

I remember that very well. It was an incredible bearing of testimony.

He was the last Apostle I heard speak at the MTC before going to Italy. He got us fired up to get out there.

Yes Elder Ballard has also written a good book on administration, one that I found useful.

I like the emphasis on people not programs.

I enjoyed Elder Holland's talk, I thought it was pretty powerful. Many of the talks this year were very specific...sometimes we don't see that in conference, it was a nice change, IMO and there were a number of things that needed to be said that were said.

I also enjoyed Bednar's talk, as well as President Hinckley's "Set the Record straight on my health talk..." I guess those that were saying he refused treatment were mistaken.
