In the strangeness of college baseball
did anybody see BYU defeated #2 ranked LSU in Louisiana?
http://byucougars.com/m-baseball/ups...r-no-2-lsu-9-4 BYU's record stinks but how often does BYU defeat the second best team in anything?

nice. program might be finally turning around since the dark days of Vance Law's mediocrity. Where is Indy Coug defending Vance Law? He had every excuse in the book why it was impossible for BYU to be any good at baseball.

That's weird. We are also playing a warm-weather team (no 21 UC-Irivine) at home. Perhaps I'll watch.

A kid named Law is the team's top batter.

The current team has a player who has a son as old as you?

they have beat two top teams but are 8-6? They must be losing some easy ones.

Well, they lost games to some good teams, such one against LSU, and Texas Tech. They did lose some head scratchers but the team is new, young with a new coaching system, so it might be a question of being a cold weather team that is hindered by the lack of good baseball weather.

This guy picked BYU to finish last in the conference.
http://blogs.eastonbaseball.com/coll...st-conference/ BYU as a team only hit 9 homers in 2012. Awful. Last edited by MikeWaters; 03-08-2013 at 09:19 PM. |
