BYU adding a 13th football game for 2011
Against TCU, Thanksgiving weekend, @Cowboys Stadium.
So much for rolling into the bowl season on a 9-game winning streak. Why on earth would BYU want to see TCU again, especially after the past three outings? Jeez talk about Stockholm Syndrome at its worst. http://www.sltrib.com/sltrib/blogsby...o-tcu.html.csp |

TcU will lose its starting QB and a ton of talent. TCU will be good but not on par with last year.
Cougars aim to be tested as far as those will play us will allow. We are not afraid to fail or to succeed.

It's called money and exposure.

Of course, if we are meeting the pie in the sky dreams of 11-0 at this point, we still get TCU's best game. |

Texas Tech canceled on TCU, so TCU needed another game. BYU has a slot open. Jerry Jones opens the wallet.

I thought so also, but if TCU is playing BYU during Thanksgiving weekend, it will only happen if the MWC plays into December.
I also wonder who will get home field between TCU and Boise, since this will be TCU's last year in the MWC, therefore the game will be like a one and done. |

The league will decide and TCU doesn't get a vote. The game will be in Boise.
