It was a Portuguese Man-o-war and let me just say DAMN, that hurt. It wrapped all around my ram and was king of stuck there, till someone I was with pulled it off.

If you ever get stung and someone offers to pee on you, you may be inclined to let em. It actually does make it feel better, and you would be willling ot try anything at that time. I would recommend getting a bottle of Windex instead from the local 7-eleven. I opted for that that instead of the pee. The amonia in the Windex does the trick and after spraying my arm for a few hours it was all back to normal. I did have some cool marks on my arm for a few weeks. And no, noone peed on me, but it hurt so bad that I actually considered it.

I've never heard it called a ram before, but it sure sounds painful. I got hit there once by a line-drive and it hurt like hell.

Good testament against skinny dipping. Or at least if you are going to skinny dip in the ocean, wear a condom for protection.
