his attendance in chile temple dedication/rededication was the next remarkable event i should mention about. I was really impressed by the spirit church injected to the people ,particulary young ones who would make huge effort to offer a warm welcome to him .when he started talking ,it sounds like he was collecting all his last energies to serve people who believe in church ..really touching.

his great sense of humor in 2006 general conference ( if i recall correctly) made it hard to believe he would surrender to death any time soon.

may almighty God reward him for his decent deeds .Enshaallah

Somehow the irony of someone going into debt to go to his funeral, and Pres. Hinckley bemoaning that members aren't doing enough to avoid debt and won't listen to him, brings me a smile.
