But this letter is so much ado about nothing. Here's the order of arguments: 1) Boukreev didn't use oxygen but he wasn't impaired; 2) Fischer authorized Boukreev's rapid descent; 3) Boukreev feels bad about failing to save a climber. Still, he admits he didn't use oxygen, and made a rapid descent. Glad we got that settled.

Going for the capillary.
You're a moron. You with soft-skinned hands have no purchase in this arena. You are the worst kind of pussy, worse than Krakauer.

People do not listen to him. As usual he is full of lies.

The real tragedy is this: no one but B. would go help the trapped.

Krakauer himself says his actions may have led to two deaths.

Who is the rescuer and who is the killer? And who got rich and famous?

I'll give you a hint: it's not the rescuer.

Have you ever seen a more petty response?

B.'s rebuttal and defense was elegant.

K.'s revealed his mealy nature.

Exactly.

B never attacked Krackhead, but Krackhead goes after B with a vengeance. He does this, "oh yeah, he save two lives, but......"

Unfortunately, in entertainment the real knowledgeable persons, such as Boukreev and Viesturs don't make the big bucks, because they don't troll or make fantastical attacks. Ever since these series of attacks, I've had NO respect for Krackhead.

Krackhead's laying waiting for people to save him, and he has the gall to produce that petty letter. F.. him.

Krakauer actually turned down the one guy who was partially blinded, when he asked K. to help him down the mountain. "But I am not a guide."

That's a whole ton of courage isn't it.

K. even has the gall to say that B.'s motive was one of making up for his own shame, in saving those people.

WHEN NO ONE ELSE WOULD HELP. And B. never blamed anyone for not helping him.

He turns the hero into a villian. And when the hero is recognized as such, K. calls it a petty political act to recognize him saving lives.

It makes me sick that Krakauer is someone that SU loves and defends. A mealy, grubby, petty jerk. Yes, I am talking about both of them.

So we have a fog of war type situation with some he said/she said mixed in.

Nothing particularly damning against Krakauer or the Kazakh in my opinion. Definitely nothing that would make me seriously question Krakauer's integrity.
