That's a pretty amazing stat. Read it in the Dallas Morning News, article about why the number of hunters is going down nationally.

One of the main reasons, in Texas at least, is that the middle-class can't afford to go hunting.

Texas is almost all private land. Hence it's the lease that is too expensive.

Whats the racial breakdown for Nascar fans? Its got to be about the same if not more white than hunting.

I doubt if Karl Malone even likes His Majesty, Richard Petty.

96%? apparently being a black hunter is like being a white running back or a white cornerback.

Love to hear that the number of hunters is declining. Leaves more animals for the rest of us.

Judging by the crime statistics, blacks just do their hunting in urban settings.
