Default If you spray broadleaf killer on your lawn

will it hurt your garden if you put your lawn clippings on it? My wife thinks it will but I really doubt it would. Anyone know for sure, or should I just try it around the veggies that I don't like?

I don't know if this is any help but...

My wife works with a bunch of hippies at the local "public garden." The hippie with whom she shares a garden plot kept asking her if she was sure I had not used any weed killers on my lawn before she would use the clippings in the garden.

The hippie is one of my classmates at U of I law but in a former life she was a bong lovin' gardener...

She might be one of those paranoid anti chemical kids or she might have a point. If I can find her email address I'll see what her reasoning was...
