Default New Killers song

I like the new song "Human". Caught the SNL performance. Very cool. The Killers might become my new favorite band. I'm very slow to accept new music, mostly being stuck in the 80's. I was reading Brandon Flowers wikipedia, and his musical influences are U2, The Smiths, Beatles, The Cure, Morrissey, New Order, Pet Shop Boys, Psychadelic Furs, The Cars. Can't choose a better list than that.

What the hell does "are we human or are we dancer mean?"

it might not be dancer. Sounds like it, but it could also be "denser," which would make more sense, as he ponders the human condition.

They also played "Spaceman," which is a cool song.

new album drops next month, which means it will leak before that. heh heh....

would be nice to see a link to the band's comments on this, as it has been a subject of speculation for the past 3 or 4 weeks, ever since the song was released.

Bit of trivia...

They took their name from the video for Crystal by New Order.

Second bit of trivia....

When they toured for Hot Fuss about 4 or so years ago, they sold little onesies for toddlers. The onesies said "Baby Killer" on them. I considered buying one, but then thought the better of it.

A few years ago one of the CB video guys made a highlight reel to the "Somebody Told Me" Killers song about a Boyfriend/Girlfriend. I remember some of the posts written by posters offended that the song promoted the homosexual agenda.

The Killers are definitly straight.

In Mr Brightside, the lyrics say "he takes off her dress, now"

Obviously promoting a heterosexual agenda.
