Last year New Mexico was a better team, but history wise New Mexico cannot touch Utah. Unless you discount tournament victories and conference championships.

Oh and as schools like Alabama has found out, tradition, except on the very highest levels (UNC, KY, etc.) does not count for as much as alumni wish that it did.

Of course you know Weber's tradition surpasses BYU's. BYU is no.4 in-state.

In no way could you have made the argument less relevant than by citing Weber State. I now know that this discussion is of no concern to me. Thank you for saving me the time.

A better comparison that way might be a Purdue. |

Jay continue to ignore history on this one. New Mexico cannot hold a candle to the Utes. 35 > 6.

So the tables have turned. You are arguing history when you have not scoreboard.
Tell me honestly: did we look this pathetic, too?

Well thanks to mpfunk and SU for playing.
And good luck with that new hire. We'll be too old to remember this conversation by the time either of us can prove who's right, but it's fun now and I'm sure we'll get some more mileage out of it again. |
