Bronco's big year
This is a big year for Bronco and Anae.
They have a senior QB. They have a pretty good squad. And people that know something about football, know that Bronco et al were hands-down outcoached against TCU and Utah. As in X's and O's, half-time adjustments, gameplanning. I see this year as very telling re: what we have in Bronco. It's one thing to be a strong leader and demand accountability. It's another thing to create a winning plan, and adjust accordingly in the heat of battle. I'll be very disappointed if our boys are involved in anymore "Light Brigade charges." Bronco is not a bad coach. He's a very good coach. But let's be honest here--Patterson and Whittingham have surpassed him, and Bronco is now playing catch-up. It's not clear that Bronco has the *fire* to be the kind of coach he needs to be to get to the next level (and no I am not talking about the NFL). |

Good start for Bronco.
Notably, Bronco did not make the defensive calls against OU. Bronco's stock is rising again. |

FSU concerns me because of the Noles' team speed. The Rams could surprise us if we aren't prepared. It will be a difficult season.

If it wasn't going to be a difficult season, we'd be Boise St. The fact that it IS a difficult season means something if the Cougs can run the table.
