I'm not responsible for church curricula, but when Gordon and I have lunch next, I'll chat with him about it.

Have you done an analysis of church lessons and discovered this empirically? Is the number of lessons on women truly disproportionate to the number of stories in the scripture? Must it be otherwise to properly teach the doctrine?

This question reminds me of the Supreme Court debates. There are those who believe that if the 9 people on the court don't perfectly reflect the demographics of America, then their perspective is necessarily flawed.

I just called up my girlfriend. She too says she doesn't feel like a second class citizen. She says she is even treated better in the ward by the men than the women although the Bishop has said some of the ladies have asked him to have her read "Especially for the YOuth".

What you are really saying is "I appreciate my wife for being submissive to my awkward attempts at romance/sex and indulging my appetite for attention. I had a HC once tell me he enjoyed "looking down" at the congregation while sitting his fat ass on the stand and assessing our failings.
I repeat. Not holding the priesthood != 2nd class citizen.

So in your infantile fantasy world, you envision me calling your wife screaming out of control? Sorry to disappoint, but I would love nothing more than engaging in a civil, respectful conversation with anyone willing to discuss the topic of women in the LDS faith. It is convenient for people of your orthodox ilk to label those of different opinions as unintelligent "screamers". That enables you to stray from the point. Alas and alak, you have validated my original position. Game, set and match.

Anyone care to hear my opinion?

I thought you are an avowed apostate. Your opinion is of no value. It is even of less value than the women in the church.

Lol... actually yes, I do envision you screaming at someone over the phone. Using phrases like "infantile fantasy world," "your orthodox ilk" and "alas and alak" are pretty much the equivalent of online screaming.

He likes women, especially younger women. Older women are of no value to him. Who asked you your opinion afterall, you're a reprobate single menace to society.
