Default What's the most evil/controversial thing the Prophet has asked you to do?

I'm looking for a jarring intersection of reality with hyperbolic theory here.

SWK asked those of us living near the Jordan River Temple when it was being built to try to plant flowers and make our yards look nice just prior to its dedication.

SWK also urged people to turn their hearts to Christ, not to armies and weapons.

SWK also condemned the hunting of deer for pure sport.

Do you mean something he asked of everyone, or me personally?

Joseph asked us to eat meat only in times of winter or famine.

When Harold B. Lee was a missionary, he was so impressed with one of the sister missionaries there that afterwards he looked her up, courted and married her.

Meanwhile, Spencer W. Kimball said lock your hearts.

Now I thought eternal marriage was a gospel fundamental. President Lee set an example. If not for President Kimball thwarting the show, I may have ended up with one of the fine, upstanding sister missionaries in the ALRM.
