Yep. When I am able to in a little later I sometimes just go all the way to 75. But traffic is hit or miss at any hour going that way.

I live in South County and work in South Coast Metro. No problems.

Working in LA is different because most people commute from outside the area. The surrounding areas near downtown are not nice, so you wind up buying 30-60 minutes away...or more.

South County is a desireable place to live, so most people live close to work.

The short commute is one of the reasons it is expensive to live here. The schools are another reason.

Nice. Are you in Orange County? If so, which city? I've always told my wife that if we ever had to live in California, it would be Dana Point.
