The Jazz have got to be more consistent.
They are driving me crazy in the Western Conference Finals. Williams comes alive in the 4th quarter and disappears in the second. The Jazz stop playing defense entirely at some point in the first half only to wake up too late. Sloan must be on the verge of shooting someone.

Memo's struggles
+ Lack of a perimeter one on one defender + A bench that has disappeared = Down 0-2 The good news being that, save two quarters, the Jazz have played better ball. |

It's funny how people ripped on the Suns for their defense.
It's obvious now that the Suns are better on defense than the Jazz. |

2nd quarters? nah, not important. As long as you play the spurs even the other 3 quarters, who cares about the 2nd?

The Jazz are overmatched. The Spurs are just playing with them at this point. utah would make a run and san antonio would push the lead back up to whatever they wanted.
Carlos Boozer is the worst defender in the NBA bar none. Anytime Febreeze Oberto goes off you suck. The jazz cant stop the Spurs from penetrating they are late on their rotations which leaves Bowen and Finley wide open. If they dont sag off of Bowen and Finley in the corners Parker and Ginobili score at will. The Spurs are just to talented and face it Sloan is being outcoached.

Every timeout leads to a little Spurs run.
It's like the Jazz have never seen a pick and roll in their lives. Parker looks like Nash, dishing at will. |

Bottom line the Jazz are playing a team that is simply just toying with them.
They toyed with Denver and Phoenix and now they're toying with Utah and they'll do the same thing to Detroit in the NBA Finals. The Jazz have a great young core and in 2-4 seasons they'll be who the Spurs are now. People say the Spurs are boring, but I don't agree with that at all. They play solid fundamental basketball and are underated offensively. To me they're a fun team to watch,,,,even though Floppu is still hands down the biggest pussy in the NBA with his pussy flopping. Of course now that Portland has the #1 pick.....holy crap.....Greg Oden, Brandon Roy, Zach Randolph, LaMarcus Aldridge and Jarrett Jack....talk about an incredibly talented young core of players. That's almost not even fair, lol. Although Randolph is a cry baby and as Oden gradually gets more of his offensive game and gets more touches, the less there'll be for Randolph and he'll become prime trade bait.

Parker is really amazing me. If he can hit consistently out to 20 feet, he is just plain unguardable. He is as quick as Barbosa, and is the best finisher in the league. I am amazed at how he goes among the trees and almost never has his shot blocked, and picks up foul after foul.
The next thing you know he will pick up the court vision of Nash, and he will be just sick. |

Steve Nash (might be the defensively worst point in NBA history) Chris Webber (dude can't move laterally to save his life) Devon George (never understood his role with the Lakers) Jamal Tinsley (a season away from playing himself out of the league) |
